A Milton resident tested his luck today and won big at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto!

Christopher Smyk took a spin on The Bigger Spin Wheel and won $650,000.

Smyk won the top prize in the wheel. His wife was in attendance to cheer him on.

“I like the Wheel of Fortune game at Casino Woodbine so when this instant game came out, I thought I’d give it a try. It’s exciting watching the virtual wheel at the retailer,” said Smyk.

The day before finding out about this big win, he scratched his ticket to reveal the spin prize.

“The next day I had a good feeling so I went to validate my ticket at the retailer – when the wheel landed on the bigger spin, I froze! I couldn’t believe it and my eyes started to well up,” shared Smyk.

The 41-year-old delivery truck driver plans to use the money to make life better for his wife and their two children.

“We’ll get a new truck because we enjoy camping a lot. And maybe take a trip to a beach down south – I haven’t been on a vacation in eight years. And we’ll invest some for the future,” he said. “This just feels so amazing – more emotion than elation but it feels so good.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Convenience Dogar Food Services on Holly Avenue in Milton.
