‘Avoid the area’: Man arrested in Burlington after female injured

Halton Regional Police tweeted Wednesday afternoon that the public should avoid the area of Guelph Line and Queensway Dr. in Burlington after a female was found with “unknown injuries”.
Halton Regional Police tweeted Wednesday afternoon that the public should avoid the area of Guelph Line and Queensway Dr. in Burlington after a female was found with “unknown injuries”.
The female was transported to hospital, according to police.
They said an “involved male” was arrested a short distance away and that there is no known, ongoing risk to public safety.
