Calling all book-lovers and fashionistas.

The Burlington Public Library, along with other libraries in Ontario, is celebrating Ontario Public Library Week with the #OPLWBOOK Outfit Contest.

Readers will have the chance to show off their creative side by matching a book cover with an outfit. 

The contest will run from today (Oct. 11) to Oct. 20 and those wanting to participate can enter in three easy steps.

  • Pick a book to match your outfit and take a photo of yourself or in a group.
  • Share how you use your library card or why you love your library.
  • Share your photo on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram using the hashtag #OPLWBookOutfit.

There are some incredible prizes involved which will be provided by Ontario Library Association.

Prizes are provided by the Ontario Library Association and include the following:

  • Forest of Reading Award nominee book set (approximately $200 value)
  • An eReader (approximately $175 value)
  • A prize pack from The Library Marketplace (approximately $200 value)

Ontario Public Library Week is celebrated from Oct. 14 to Oct. 20.
