During February, the Town of Halton Hills presents several events and workshops that showcase the contributions of Black artists and creators in Canada.

Free programs are being offered at the Halton Hills Public Library and Cultural Centre, Hillsview Active Living and Acton Youth Centre throughout the month. For full details visit the Town website and follow along on social media.

“This year’s Black History Month programs will engage the public through visual art, music, and literature,” said Mayor Ann Lawlor. “These programs provide residents with an opportunity to learn from the personal stories and lived experiences of Black artists and cultural leaders in our community. Join in and celebrate the special insights that Black artists bring to our town.”
