Abdul matched five of five cards to win $100,000.

The 64-year old father of four and grandfather of two discovered his win by using the OLG Lottery App to check his ticket.

“I told my wife first, and then we went to the store to validate my ticket,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “I couldn’t believe it.”

The cleaner is planning to pay off his mortgage and share with his kids. He is also thinking of buying a cottage.

“It’s an amazing experience, I hope everyone can have this experience,” he concluded.

The OLG Prize Centre in Toronto is now accepting in-person prize claim appointments for winning-ticket holders of $10,000 or more. Appointments for prizes of this value will be granted if requested, however, prizes up to $49,999.90 do not have to be claimed in-person and customers are encouraged to continue to mail-in claims when possible.

The winning ticket was purchased at Brant Plaza Pharmasave on Brant Street in Burlington.
