The proposed three-tower project.

Three condo towers reaching heights of 34, 32 and 30 stories are reaching the final approval stage after several years of planning.

Proposed for the north side of Masonry Court between Waterdown Road and Cooke Boulevard, the buildings are being recommended for approval by City of Burlington planning staff.

The proposal still has to go before a public meeting and City council before construction work can begin.

First put forward in 2020, plans for the buildings have been altered slightly over the years based on feedback and to gain the necessary changes to the City’s Official Plan and zoning bylaws that would allow the project to proceed.

When completed, the entire complex will bring 1,165 residential units to the Aldershot community.

The heights of the building will include podiums, however, changed from earlier plans, the podiums will no longer be connected.

Ground level retail is called for at the corner of Masonry and Cooke.

The public meeting is scheduled for March 4 at 9;30 a.m. and will be held online at www.burlington.ca/calendar or in person at Burlington City Hall.

Requests to delegate to this hybrid meeting can be made by completing the online form at www.burlington.ca/delegate, by emailing  [email protected] or by phoning 905-335-7600, ext. 7481 by noon on March 1
