What if it's cloudy on April 8 during the solar eclipse?

Ontario is front and center in Canada Post’s new stamp commemorating the upcoming solar eclipse in April.

The stamp features the Canadian ‘path of totality,’ which is the course of the upcoming eclipse that passes through Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador, with the primary start point being Niagara Falls ending at Bonavista.

As a result of Ontario being in the path of the event, countless individuals from all over the world are looking to travel to the region when the cosmic display occurs.

The stamp itself features the eclipse at the moment of totality (when the total solar eclipse is in full effect) hanging over the Canadian landscape. Land formations scattered along the bottom of the image include the Niagara Falls themselves, the Canadian countryside and the coastal landscape of Bonavista.

The solar eclipse is anticipated to occur on Monday, April 8, for two hours and will not be seen again in Ontario until 2044,
