Canadian comedian Majumder brings ‘Love Tour’ to the Oakville Centre

The Oakville Centre for Performing Arts is home to a little love and a whole lot of laughs next weekend.

Canadian standup comedian Shaun Majumder brings The Love Tour to the AEG Liebherr Auditorium next Thursday (Oct. 26) at 8 p.m.

For over 20 years, the rural Newfoundland raised Majumder has found success on both sides of the border.

Majumder first landed gigs with YTV as a host/PJ for five years and taking the stage with CBC’s Just For Laughs comedy series, before joining the cast of CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes for over seventeen seasons.
The Canadian also struck success south of the border with noteworthy acting performances, including his work as Detective Vik Mahajan in the ABC’s critically acclaimed crime drama, Detroit 1-8-7, his role as Andrew Palmer on NBC’s The Firm starring alongside Josh Lucas and Juliette Lewis, and as Hassan Numair on FOX’s 24.

He also held several comedy roles, including starring in the Sketch Comedy Series Cedric The Entertainer Presents, The Farrelly Brothers Unhitched, ABC’s Married Not Dead, NBC’s Nevermind Nirvana, and CBC’s Hatching Matching and Dispatching.
Majumder is currently starring alongside Harold Parineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Eion Bailey, in the EPIX Sci Fi/Horror series FROM, playing Father Khatri.

Tickets for The Love Tour at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts at $75 for regular, $68 for Big Ticket and $64 for Big Ticket+.
