Couple facing drug and weapon charges after police raid in Hamilton and Burlington

An Ancaster couple is facing multiple drug and weapons possession charges after Hamilton Police Service’s Vice and Drug officers raided a home and two storage lockers on Apr 30.

Police say an investigation into an Ancaster man for drug activity began in late March. It resulted in his arrest and “a large seizure” of drugs and cash. The man was also arrested for a COVID-19 related offense that police called a “failure to comply with an order given during a declared emergency”.

Police said that further investigation into the man led to an Apr 30 raid at a home in the area of Golf Links Rd and Meadowlands Blvd, as well as storage units in the area of Stone Church and Dartnall Road, and Appleby Line and Mainway in Burlington.

The man’s vehicles were also searched.
