‘Feel it Again’ with Honeymoon Suite and guests The Kings at Oakville concert

A pair of Canadian rock heavyweights from the 80’s and 90’s are set to take the stage in Oakville this weekend.

Honeymoon Suite with special guests The Kings are coming to the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts on Friday (Sept. 22).

Showtime is 8 p.m. in the AEG Liebherr Auditorium.

Fronted by founding members Johnie Dee and Derry Grehan, Honeymoon Suite met in 1982 and released their first album just two years later.

What followed was a multiple of top 40 hits including “New Girl Now” and “Feel It Again”, and thousands of live performances.

With a ‘Best of’ album that is considered a must for any classic rock collection, the Canadian band is still going strong today.

The list of awards is a long one for The Kings. Canadian Songwriter Hall of Fame inductees, they are also JUNO Award nominees as well as recipients of the Socan Classic Award for having over 100,000 radio plays.

The 1980s rock band hit the ground running with monster Platinum selling hits like “Switchin’ To Glide and “This Beat Goes On.”

The Kings were once described by Billboard Magazine as having “more guts and fire than Cheap Trick.”

The Canadian band has returned with a brand new album, “The Longest Story Ever Told”, which is out this month.
