Food Truck Festival Coming to Burlington

Burlington is officially on the list as the Canadian Food Truck Festivals heads west for the first time this weekend.

Amazing food from across the country is being served up — you’ll be able to try Mexican street food from El Trompo Movil, wood-oven pies from Johnny Rocco’s Pizza Wagon, sandwiches from S.W.A.T., and Indian flatbread from T Dot’s Naan Sense.

You’ll definitely need to chase those with a cold pint.

There will be anywhere from 30 to 50 food trucks on site.

Sweet treats include the Apple Fritter Factory, Tiny Tom Donuts, Paradise Cream, and I Love Churros (who doesn’t really?!).

Kids will enjoy the children’s village, while adults can let loose at the daily food truck eating challenges.

And when there’s food, you’ve got to have tunes.

Local musicians will be providing live music at the festival, taking place on July 22 to July 23 at Spencer Smith Park (1400 Lakeshore Rd.) from noon until 9 p.m.

Here’s the full musical lineup:
