Four Oakville schools placed in hold and secure as Halton cops investigate reports of armed man

UPDATE: Halton Regional Police announced around 1:10 p.m. the hold and secure have now been lifted at all schools.
Several schools in Oakville have been placed in a hold and secure by Halton Regional Police.
White Oaks Secondary School as well as Montclair, Munns and Ecole Gaeten Gervais elementary schools, are all being secured while police investigate reports of a man with a knife seen at a store in the area.
This is taking place near the intersection of Sixth Line and McCraney St. E.
Police say no robbery or physical injuries related to this occurrence have been reported and this is purely precautionary.
