Here’s What’s Happening on Family Day in Milton for Free

Family Day is quickly approaching and if you’ve been trying to plan a fun-filled day that everyone in the family can enjoy you may have realized that this is not always cheap.
Family Day is quickly approaching and if you’ve been trying to plan a fun-filled day that everyone in the family can enjoy you may have realized that this is not always cheap.
However, if you’ve been looking for events, or places, to go to that are on the more affordable side than you’re in luck.
A variety of recreation programs will be offered at different Milton facilities on Feb. 18. And the best part is that some activities will be completely free.
Free public skating and craft activities will be taking place at the Milton Sports Centre from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drop in cycling, fitness and skating programs, and swimming programs, according to the Town of Milton website, will be offered at regular admission rates.
A few other free events that will be taking place in town include family dodgeball at the Milton Sports Centre, family yoga at the Milton Leisure Centre, a slime-making workshop at the Milton Sports Centre, and family basketball also at the Milton Sports Centre.
The Town of Milton is inviting residents to partake in these events in order to celebrate the importance of family.
“Family Day celebrates the importance of families in our community,” Mayor Gord Krantz, said in a press release. “I encourage Miltonians to gather with family members to enjoy a variety of recreational activities offered this Family Day.”
