A Milton secondary school is hoping to be able to offer a high-quality learning program beginning in 2026.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School was recently approved as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program.

This means St. Kateri Tekakwitha is now pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy: a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education.

As the school works toward becoming an IB World School in September 2026, St. Kateri Tekakwitha will be offering a Grade 9 pre-IB Program beginning in September 2024.

Students and families interested in learning more about the Grade 9 Pre-IB Program are encouraged to attend the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School Parent Information Night on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

More information about the Parent Information Night will follow.
