Major restaurant group Catch Hospitality Group raises funds for local charity in Oakville

Catch Hospitality Group, which operates popular restaurants in Oakville and Hamilton, recently wrapped up another successful charity event for kids and families.

Earlier in December, Catch Hospitality held their annual Priceless Holiday Lunch and raised a total of $17,800 for The Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families.

Lighthouse is a local Oakville-based organization that provides free grief support to children, youth, and families who are experiencing a death or significant loss in their lives. Their goal is to help provide children with the time, space, and understanding they need to cope with the pain in a healthy way.

The holiday lunch is an annual event organized by Catch Hospitality as a way of giving back to the community. They believe supporting their fellow community members is priceless, especially during the holiday season.

Residents who want to help Catch Hospitality support The Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families can donate directly to the cause or participate in one of their many charity events.

Lighthouse says they are 95% self-funded and rely heavily on fundraising events to be able to provide peer grief support groups at no cost to families. To that end, they have multiple events every year including:

  • Run4Lighthouse – their largest annual fundraiser
  • Children’s Grief Awareness Month community events
  • Children’s Grief Symposium
  • Bid & Buy fundraiser
  • Third-party fundraising events like Catch Hospitality’s Priceless Holiday Lunch

The Priceless Holiday Lunch is just one of many ways Catch Hospitality is continuing to support and give back to the growing community in Oakville and beyond, which mirrors the company’s own growth as one of the best full-service restaurant and catering groups in the GTA.
