Man charged after alleged sexual assault on Burlington GO Transit bus

Charges have been laid following an alleged sexual assault on a GO Transit bus in Burlington.

On Monday, Feb. 26, at around 12:45 p.m. Halton police say a man exposed his genitals and masturbated while making physical contact with a female passenger. The bus was westbound through the City of Burlington. The female alerted the driver and did not suffer any physical injuries.

Cameron Henry, 26, of No Fixed Address, has been charged with sexual assault and failure to comply with probation order. He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Police say Henry is known to regularly use public transit systems to travel between jurisdictions and believe there may be additional victims. They are asking anyone with information, or anyone who has been victimized by the accused, to contact the HRPS Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777, ext. 8970.

Sexual assault is any touching of another person without their consent where the touching is of a sexual nature, or where the sexual integrity of the victim is violated. A sexual assault can range from unwanted touching to sexual assault involving penetration.
