New Oakville rental building provides gym, outdoor barbecue patio

A new building in Oakville, located between Oakville Place and Sheridan College, is now open to renters.
Oakhill, a development by Starlight, is bringing one- and two-bedroom suites and even a few townhomes, to 291 Queens Ave.
“With housing becoming more and more of an issue across the country, Starlight is working hard to address this need with 28,000 rental suites planned in the next 10 years and 3,000 suites expected to be created by 2026,” said a spokesperson for the developer.
“We have seven ongoing development projects, with seven more expected to launch in 2024 and more than 600 suites leased in new communities so far this year.”
The monthly rent for a one-bedroom suites starts at $2,330, two-bedroom suites start at $2,905, two-bedroom townhomes at $3,985 and four-bedroom townhome from $5,210.
The building has numerous amenities that residents can enjoy, including a gym and yoga Studio, library and meeting room, fully-equipped party room and kitchen, and outdoor lounge with barbecue patio. There is also underground parking and secure bike storage.
It’s also close to transit routes and only a few minutes from downtown Oakville and Lake Ontario.
