Oakville Resident Enjoys Massive Lotto Win

An Oakville resident is enjoying a massive lottery win.
Darryl Whitford, of Oakville, has won $100,000 with ENCORE in the Oct. 12 LOTTO MAX draw.
An Oakville resident is enjoying a massive lottery win.
Darryl Whitford, of Oakville, has won $100,000 with ENCORE in the Oct. 12 LOTTO MAX draw.
Following the draw, Whitford went to a retailer to check his ticket.

“I had to check it [the ticket] three or four times just to make sure,” Whitford said in an OLG press release.
With his winnings Whitford, who is married and a father to four daughters, plans on paying some bills, taking his girls to Florida for New Year’s, and putting money towards his daughters education funds.
The winning ticket was purchased at Jim Smoke Stop & Shop on Woodlawn Road in Guelph.
