Person struck by train at Pickering GO station

A person has been struck by a train at the Pickering GO station.

Reports of a disruption at the Pickering GO broke around 4 p.m. on April 3. A spokesperson for Metrolinx confirmed to Insauga that a person was struck by a train.

However, he was unable to provide details as to the individual’s identity, condition, or the circumstances of the incident.

He was able to share that the person struck was transported to Sunnybrook Hospital.

Insauga has reached out to Durham Police for further information.

Metrolinx confirmed trains were running in both directions again but will be delayed by several minutes for some time.
