Police believe missing Oakville man may have been heading to Hamilton area

Halton Regional Police are asking the public’s assistance in finding a missing Oakville man they believe may have been heading to the Hamilton area.
Albert Opoku, 29 was last seen at the Oakville Go Station at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 31).
Opoku (in photo below) is described by police as a black male who is approximately six-foot-two, 175-pounds with a medium build, short black hair and a moustache.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater with black jeans and carrying a yellow backpack.
Opoku has braces on his teeth and a tattoo of a rose on his left hand. Police say he may have been headed to the Hamilton area.
Opoku’s family and police are concerned for his well-being.
Anyone with information about Opoku or his possible whereabouts is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
