Police investigating robbery of restaurant in Milton

Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a robbery in Milton.

On Monday (May 3), HRPS was called to the Subway located at 575 Ontario Street in relation to a robbery.

According to police, the suspect confronted staff while armed with a knife and demanded they hand over all the cash in the store before fleeing the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 20 years old, with a thin build. He was wearing a black mask; and a black, Nike hoodie.

Residents can expect a heavy police presence, as HRPS continues to investigate.
