Police respond to condo balcony fire in Milton

This past weekend, police and the Milton fire department responded to a condo balcony fire.

Constable Steve Elms, Media Relations Officer for Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), confirmed that on July 9, a fire occurred on Suave St. in Milton.

According to Elms, police received a call at 7:32 p.m. about a balcony fire on the fifth floor.

Elms told insauga that officers assisted in evacuating residents, which were allowed back into the building just before 1:00 a.m.
