Police Responding to Vehicle Accident in Oakville

Drivers are asked to be aware of a road incident today in Oakville.

Police said around 11:40 a.m. that they were responding to reports of an overturned dump truck in the area of Winston Churchill and Sheridan Garden.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

Residents are asked to avoid the scene. Drives should detour around the area of the incident.

UPDATE: Sheridan Garden is closed in both directions between Jonathan Drive and Winston Churchill. Cleanup is expected to take a few hours.

Officers remain on scene to investigate.
