Popular outdoor tennis courts in Milton will be closed next week

Milton residents who get their tennis fix at Optimist Park will have to find another location for a week or so.
The Town of Milton announced the three tennis courts, located at 881 Savoline Blvd., will be closed for scheduled improvements starting next week, April 15.
Improvements will take place in two phases. The first phase includes court enclosure fencing improvements.
The second phase includes court surfacing improvements and new tennis posts installation. The second phase is scheduled for later this summer/early fall.
While these tennis courts are closed for improvements, residents can visit Milton’s other public tennis courts including:
- Bronte Meadows Park – 165 Laurier Ave.
- Rotary Park – 100 Garden Lane
