Safety forum will bring together Burlington policing, health-care experts

An upcoming forum will advise how to keep yourself and others safe and healthy.

Hosted by Burling Ward 2 Councillor Lisa Kearns, members of Halton Regional Police, the Burlington Fire Department, bylaw enforcement, community health representatives and political leaders from both the federal and provincial governments will be on hand to offer insight and information on available programs and tips to enhance your daily living experience.

Topics will include preventing and reporting crimes, homeless outreach response, government roles and responsibilities, and local rules and bylaws.

The forum will take March 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Art Gallery Burlington, 1333 Lakeshore Road.
