An elderly Oakville woman has been struck by a vehicle in the south end on Friday morning.

An elderly Oakville woman has been struck by a vehicle in the south end on Friday morning.

“This call is still ongoing and the information is limited at the moment,” said Halton police Sgt. Dana Nicholas.

The incident took place near Lakeshore Rd. W. and Bronte Rd. around 11:50 a.m.

The victim has minor injuries, said Nicholas.

There’s no information on the vehicle and it’s unclear if the driver will be charged.
