Suspect Sought After Steaks Stolen From Grocery Store in Burlington

Halton Police are searching for one suspect after steaks were stolen from a grocery store in Burlington recently.

On June 10, 2019, a man went to the Fortinos located at 5111 New St., and stole two packages of grilling steak valued at $74.92 in total. 

Police say the suspect was able to escape with the merchandise in 2010 Ford Escape, that was white in colour with a possible license plate of CDEP811.

The investigation pertaining to this incident is ongoing.

The suspect is being described as a black male, who is in his 30s, approximately 5’10”, and 185 pounds. Police also say the suspect has a possible slight goatee, and was wearing a waist-length black winter jacket with white coloured writing on the left upper arm, black gym shorts, black running shoes with white soles, and a gray backpack.
