Taste of Downtown Milton will feature multiple cuisines from local restos

An event that has become popular in many surrounding communities is coming to Milton in February.

A Taste of Downtown Milton will allow culinary aficionados to try a wide array of local restaurants featuring their curated prix-fixe lunch or dinner menus.

Organized by the Downtown Milton BIA, the event will run from Friday, Feb. 23, to Sunday, Mar. 17.

“Downtown Milton is home to a diverse range of restaurants, including Italian, Indian, Thai, Middle Eastern and more,” said an event spokesperson.

However, at least for now, the names of the participating eateries are being kept secret. They will be revealed next Friday, Feb. 9, and there’s even a countdown clock you can follow along with until the big reveal.

Both Oakville and Burlington have “A Taste Of” events running in the spring.

Participating restaurants are encouraged to put together a menu that highlights their best dishes, giving consumers a sample of whatever cuisine they specialize in. For a fixed price, diners are able to select from among multiple offerings
