Three COVID-19 outbreaks declared at long term care homes in Halton: Feb 1 to 7

Halton Public Health has declared three COVID-19 outbreaks this week at long term care homes in Halton.

On Monday, February 1, an outbreak was declared at Amica Georgetown, located at 224 Maple Ave in Georgetown. The home is reporting 39 total COVID-19 cases: 11 residents, 3 staff, and 25 unspecified/non-Halton cases.

On Wednesday, February 3, an outbreak was declared at Creek Way Village, located at 5200 Corporate Dr in Burlington. The home is reporting one resident case.

The third outbreak was declared on Saturday, February 6 at West Oak Village, located at 2370 Third Line in Oakville. No cases have been reported at this time.

All three outbreaks are currently considered still active.
