Two Oakville men arrested following wallet theft in Burlington

Two arrests have been made in regards to a theft in Burlington.

Two arrests have been made in regards to a theft in Burlington.

On February 29, 2020, police say a 52 year old male victim was at the Burlington GO Station at 2101 Fairview Street when his waist pack and wallet were stolen.

“The same day his financial card was used at three locations in Burlington,” police report. “The loss to the victim is approximately $700.00.”

Following a police investigation, two Oakville men were arrested.

45 year old Troy Henderson and 35 year old Tyson Ellis have been charged with Theft Under $5,000, Fraud Under $5,000, and Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card.

Both males were released on an Undertaking, police say.
