UPDATE: Two teen girls missing in Oakville

UPDATE: Halton police have located missing Oakville teens Jaida McCook and Shivani DESHPANDE safe and unharmed.

Two Oakville teens have been missing since last night and their families are concerned for their well-being.

Halton police said they’re continuing to search for Jaida McCook and Shivani Deshpande.

Police believe McCook may be in the company of Deshpande, who was last seen on foot around 5 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 17, in the area of Third Line and Dundas Street in Oakville.

McCook is female, 16-years-old, about 5-foot-5, medium build with dark hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey hoody, brown pants and white shoes.

Deshpande is female, 15-years-old, about 5-foot-2 with a slim build. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing a navy blue jacket and Nike shoes that are pink and white.

Police are concerned for the safety of both missing teens and anyone who sees them, or has knowledge of their whereabouts, is asked to notify police by calling the non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
